About

Mom Profile.jpg

I have extensive expertise helping clients deal with OCD, trauma, anxiety, depression and specific phobias through a variety of modalities including narrative, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, exposure and response prevention, including intensive Ex/RP and animal assisted therapy. I am a certified OCD therapist and sometimes use animal assisted therapy with clients. Because I spent 3 decades living and working overseas, I have come to view this work through a multi-cultural lens.

I received my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University New England. I am Board Certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors. I received my certificate in Exposure and Response Prevention (Ex/RP) Therapy from Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety, University of Pennsylvania for both adults and pediatrics.

I will expand my practice in August 2020 to include working with children and adolescents who suffer from OCD or anxiety. Please see my news page for more information.

I am a Member of the American Counseling Association, American Mental Health Counselors Association, National Board of Certified Counselors, and International OCD Foundation.
